The short version: play Poppinjay and have fun. Buy the Full Adventure once and it's yours to keep. Purchases and refunds go through the App Store or Google Play. Please don't copy the game or sell it as your own.
Who we are
Poppinjay is made by Wizard Coded ("we", "us"). These terms are between you and us, and they cover the game on iPhone, iPad and Android and this website. By playing the game you agree to them.
Playing the game
We give you a personal, non-transferable right to install and play Poppinjay on devices you own or control, for your own fun and not for sale.
- Please don't copy, resell or redistribute the game or its art, sounds or music.
- Please don't take the game apart, or change it to unlock what you haven't bought.
- Streaming and sharing videos and screenshots of your runs is welcome.
If you downloaded the game from the App Store, Apple's standard licensed application end user licence agreement also applies. If you downloaded it from Google Play, Google Play's terms of service also apply.
Purchases
The first two worlds are free. The Full Adventure is a one-time purchase that unlocks the rest of the game and all future updates. The Supporter Pack is an optional set of cosmetics; it never adds power.
Every purchase is made through the App Store or Google Play, at the price shown in your store. The store handles payment, receipts and refunds under its own rules, so ask Apple or Google for a refund. Use Restore Purchases in the game to bring an unlock back on a new device signed in to the same store account.
The Daily Pop and sharing
The Daily Pop gives everyone the same seed each day. Sharing a result opens your device's share sheet; you choose where it goes, and what you post there is yours.
Your progress
Your progress is kept only on your device. We never see it, so we can't recover it for you if it's lost. Your device's own backup may keep a copy.
Our work, and others'
The game, its characters, art, sounds, music and code belong to Wizard Coded. Some parts are made by others and used under their licences: the fonts Fredoka and Lilita One under the SIL Open Font License, and some art and sound under CC0. The game's Credits screen lists them.
Updates
We may update the game to add things, fix bugs or keep it working on new devices. If an update ever removes something you paid for, you can ask us for a refund, and we will look at each request case by case.
Limits
We work hard to make the game fun and bug-free, but we provide it "as is", without promises that it will always work perfectly. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid for the game. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer law where you live.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, unless the consumer law where you live says otherwise.
Changes to these terms
If these terms ever change, the new version will be here, with a new date above. If a change matters, we'll also say so in the game.
